Vacation In Thailand Pattaya Beach For a long time, I was planning to visit one of the most beautiful country in south east Asia Thailand . Thailand is famous for both its urban city life like Bangkok and natural beauty like Coral island. I landed in Bangkok to a warm welcome! Since, I haven’t applied for visa beforehand, I had to take visa on arrival . I must say the green channel express service was very fast and it took not more than 15-20 minutes to get the visa on my passport. I was charged 400 Baht for the service which is nominal. The visa fees itself was slashed to 50% for tourist promotion during that time (January). (Journey Continues...) मेरी यात्रा की शुरुआत पोर्ट ब्लेयर (Port Blair) से हुई। इस यात्रा का प्रथम भाग जानने के लिए , यहाँ पढ़ा जा सकता है । पोर्ट ब्लेयर को छोड़ कर जाना मिश्रित भावनाओं से परिपूर्ण था। मैं इतनी सुंदर जगह छोड़ने के लिए दुखी भी था और साथ ही नई नई जगह देखने के लिए उत्साहित भी । रॉस द्वीप : (Ross Island) का एक समृद्ध अतीत है। यह द्वीप जनरल रॉस (General Ross) का निवास स्थान था। स्वतंत्रता से पूर्व इस द्वीप का इतिहास स्वतंत्रता सेनानियो के बलिदानो से भरा हुआ है। यहाँ सेनानिओं को लाकर पैरों में रस्सी और पत्थर बांध कर समुद्र में फैंक दिया जाता था। इस द्वीप पर जनरल रॉस की कई इमारतें हैं जैसे भोजन कक्ष और भंडार गृह , ऑफिस , निवास इत्यादि , जो अब एक खंडर के रूप में परिवर्तित हो चुकें है । अब यहाँ वन्य जीवन और लहराते पेड़ के साथ सागर से आ रही हवाओं का अनुभव कर सकते हैं। रॉस द्वीप तक नौका के माध्यम से पंहुचा जा सकता है। यहाँ मैंने , हिरण और हरे भरे रास्तों के बीच अपना समय बिताया। यह द्वीप एक शांतिपूर्ण गंतव्य है। ...
