Digital Painting - Fantasy Land

Fantasy Land where lands are mystic and spiritual mostly untouched. Physics defying laws and a land which comes in dream and nowhere else. Skies are dramatic and celestial planets are visible even in day. Mountain ranges are vibrant and glowing, trees are full of blossoms. Water crystal clear.   Hope you will enjoy it.

I am trying creative things these days. Like drawing through one of the digital tablets to do creative things like drawing and photo composting. I have already covered digital tablets in earlier blogs, but this one is about the result I get out of it. As creative By Nature I like to do lot of Creative stuff like sculpting, drawing painting and other art works.   Digital tablet helps you to get around the mouse and it helps you in getting the accurate position of the cursor. Pressure pen or the stylus as some may call it, will help you in getting the right amount of stroke density and the size of the tip of the cursor on the painting. Here is one of my paintings done with digital art. I have used open source software Krita for this. I must say it looks like that it is very convenient and easy to draw with these tools but in the end it's your skills and the amount of work you are ready to put in your drawings and paintings.    the first one of these is a pain...

Arduino: Micro-controlling your mundane tasks for you

Recently, I was watching DIY or Do-It-Yourself video on YouTube about controlling the lights at home.  The project involves something called microcontroller. That increased my curiosity and I searched about it. Interestingly there is a whole new field of creative projects in which microcontrollers are used, and not only professionals but individual with some knowledge of electronics, with interest in basic programming can do that. I find out that Arduino microcontrollers are the front runner in this field. The best part of Arduino is that it is open source, which means that anyone can use it. Anyone with a project in mind, which involves some control over electronics or electro-mechanical gadgets or devices, then be it designer, architect, artists or just an enthusiast, with the flexibility of Arduino, the project can be taken to next level. How it all began The story behind the naming of Arduino is also very interesting. The microcontroller is named after the bar in ...
