Sign In is a term used for authenticating that it is you and authorizing that your information can be stored in your account for that service and can be retrieved at your request.
Chrome account helps in storing your information and preferences When you sign in to Chrome, and can get it back for you on your requirement. The big benefit of this is you will get same preferences, look and feel across all the devices every time in which you sign in.

Chrome allows you to see and update your information on all your devices, like bookmarks, history, passwords, and other settings.
This is helpful when you change your device especially if you lost them like phone. Since, all the information is stored with chrome remotely it can be retrieved back when you sign in on your new device. Once signing in to chrome account all the associated accounts like Gmail, YouTube, Search, and other Google services will login automatically with your personal settings.
Your experience in other Google products is personalized by including your Chrome history with your Web & App Activity.


Though, signing in gives you personalized view however, it should only be done the devices you trust, in case of public computer use guest mode to avoid Identity Theft or hacking attack. Signing in chrome is quite easy on computer


requirement to sign in to Chrome, you should have a Google Account.

Follow the steps to sign in to chrome
On your computer, open Chrome.
In the top right, click the name or People.
Click Sign in to Chrome.
Sign in with your Google Account.
If you want to sign in to Chrome with more than one account or you share your computer with others, learn how to add a profile in Chrome.

Sign out of Chrome
After signing out, you can still see your bookmarks, history, passwords, and other settings. But if you make any changes, they won't be saved to your Google Account and synced to your other devices.

On your computer, open Chrome.
At the top right, click More and then Settings.
At the top, under "People," click Sign out.
Confirm by clicking Sign out.
Sign out remotely
You can remove your account from a device, even if you don't have it with you.

To sign out of any device, go to this list of your recently used devices. Select a device, and remove your account access.
