Madame Tussauds - Bangkok, Thailand
Mr. Narendra Modi - Prime Minister of India |
On my travel journey in Thailand, I
got the chance to visit modern marvel, Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. The world
famous chain of life size wax statues of famous peoples who have contributed in
human history in some way. The experience was truly mesmerizing. The details
that are put in the statues are truly astonishing. Sometimes, they felt so
alive that it feels like they are about to come to life. You have to touch them
to let yourself know that they are not real! Though, I was not fortunate enough
to spend whole day at this wonder world, still I got fair amount of time to
appreciate its beauty.

Wax Modelling is very tedious and complicated
process in which once required specialized skills in modelling, grafting
(hairs, eyes, teeth etc.), makeup, props, stage setup etc. Each take number of
man hours.
My Experience
I went to Bangkok branch of museum, which is located at the 6th
floor of the Siam Discovery mall. I arrived at 7 PM and had couple of hours to
traverse through it. It was quite occupied and lot of enthusiastic fans
were taking selfies and photos of their idols.

Though, I was tired from day travel
plans, my tiredness quickly vanished in the engaging environment. The whole
museum is divided into separate sections from Movie Actors to Leader to
Films. One can feel the aura of the real person from these statues. Since, I
had a combo the bonus was to get the chance to watch the small 4D movie on Ice
Age. It was fun and humorous.
The whole experience can be enjoyed
in 2 to 3 hours depending on how much time you would like to spend with each
idol. The Museum is spacious enough for differently abled persons to move along
freely. Spending some time with my idols, gave me very good memories and happy
moments for sure.
I would suggest to visit the place; it will surely add to your experience.
